What LAMPS audiences say…
General
This is what the church needs more than ever – the retelling of the Gospel in a professional and relevant way.
We had a fabulous couple of days with LAMPS and it went down a storm. Everyone very moved and enthused.
I’m totally in awe of the quality of LAMPS’ works and commend them to any groups seeking new ways of communicating simple truths to diverse audiences.
The Passion
One of the best adaptations of the events of Easter week that I’ve ever seen. Very stripped back and performance-led with a very talented cast This is one of my highlights from the Fringe. Very highly recommend.
We watched and listened in complete silence for over an hour as the Easter story was told… The audience responded with a lengthy standing ovation – it was a great evening.
A life-changing experience for me and my understanding of the scriptures. I honestly had trouble getting to sleep as I kept reflecting on what I had seen and heard. Like many others no doubt I shed a tear or two.
The most moving experience I’ve had in this church in 81 years…
Absolutely brilliant. All so talented, beautiful voices, very moving, thank you.

Salt and Light
Fabulous! Extremely high quality musical performances and wonderfully creative story-telling
Beautiful collection of stories – each one leading into the next in a way that was seamless and meaningful – OUTSTANDING!
This is a fantastic show. Songs, music and spoken word are used to share about the life and miracles of Jesus through the eyes of a family whose lives were changed by him. Definitely worth going to see.
Very creative retelling with fantastic music and spoken word
I think I was either laughing or crying through the whole show
Bread and Starlight
This was truly an anointed and powerful presentation; providing valuable insights into Spiritual truths readers might usually miss. The script itself, plus the music and sensitive drama, powerfully enhanced the story of Elizabeth.
A mesmerising performance that had me captivated for an hour… so clever, poignant, beautiful and funny
The script did a marvellous job of capturing the significance of the incarnation without going anywhere near the stable
